style="font-size:16px;">夜悶熱，蚊雷，暴雨喧嘩，早起看客棧人家的瓦屋頂，還急雨成河。早飯后，天響晴，日頭大曬，燒而烤，有急于收復失地的熱烈。烈日下，父子一人一只箱子，一人一只背包，從大蜀山輾轉逍遙津，從地鐵站顛簸淮河路，我的背包相當的重，背著衣服、水和干糧，還背著幾本張愛玲的“精神干糧”。小子滿頭大汗，跑得氣喘吁吁，我告訴他堅持，堅持，像當年的小淮軍能征慣戰一樣。大東門站，相扶上了出站自動扶梯了，我見站前似有空，忙掉頭帶兒再乘扶梯下去，請求說：我們拜訪李鴻章故居，能否存一下行李？青年民警搖頭。</span> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;font-size:15px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> <span style="font-size:16px;">1845年，初夏，北京，西城區西直門外，曾府門前，有人以“年家子”身份投帖，求拜見。家人報問：這“年家子”？曾國藩覽帖，以湘腔笑語：我和他爹文安同年中進士唦。家人出，請入曾府，李鴻章遂成為曾門弟子。1850年起，太平天國運動爆發，疾風烈火由南向東燒卷。到1853年，太平軍自武漢順江東下占領安徽首府安慶，殺死巡撫蔣文慶。李鴻章在京，遇工部侍郎老鄉呂賢基，談到家鄉遭“匪劫”二人感慨萬端。李鴻章連夜捉刀，次日呂賢基署名呈奏，得咸豐帝諭呂任安徽團練大臣，回鄉辦團練。工部副部長，哪懂軍事？呂為此跌足。對李說：“君禍我，上命我往；我亦禍君，奏調偕行。”李鴻章遂隨呂賢基回籍辦團練。歷史上，注定有一些人要仆倒的。呂賢基后來陣亡于舒城，而李鴻章卻于前夜逃合肥了。有人說呂用呂的死，成就了李。</span> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;font-size:15px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> <span style="font-size:16px;">五月，李鴻章帶兵守和州裕溪口，首與太平軍交戰。后父親李文安也被舉薦回鄉辦團練。團練，中國古代民兵制度，始置何年不詳。安史之亂后，唐廷多有編設。宋、明代亦設團練兵。清康熙始，各縣皆設團練，訓練地方民兵。李家父子訓練的民兵“整齊皆可用”。李鴻章先后隨清廷大員在皖與太平軍、捻軍作戰。時太平軍再攻安徽首府，安慶保衛戰中結識了“戰友”——安徽按察使張印塘。張印塘河北豐潤人，為官清廉，深受百姓愛戴。戰友一場張印塘于次年憂憤成疾，倉促逝世，李鴻章撰墓表：“江淮鼎沸，獨君與鴻章率千百羸卒，崎嶇于擾攘之際。君每自東關往來廬州，輒過予里舍，或分道轉戰，卒相遇矢石間，往往并馬論兵，意氣投合，相互激勵勞苦……”</span> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;font-size:15px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> <span style="font-size:16px;">歷史就是如此吊詭嗎，看似不太引起史學家重視的安慶一戰，在為日后文壇出現的一顆文曲星，埋下了一支伏筆。好像老天有意讓李張結識，開啟一段新的中國文學史，如張愛玲在《傾城之戀》里所言：“什么是因，什么是果？誰知道呢？也許就因為要成全她，一個大都市傾覆了。”</span> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;font-size:15px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> <span style="font-size:16px;">李鴻章剿太平軍含山之戰有功，被嘉獎，后太平軍攻陷廬州，李鴻章攜家眷出逃，至南昌胞兄處寓居。再赴江西建昌正式入曾國藩幕府，負責起草文書。“上馬擊狂胡，下馬草軍書”。此時正當湘軍三河之戰敗績，曾國藩對李鴻章入營襄助，“特加親睞”。在曾國藩教導下，李鴻章的個人修養，軍事思想等各方面得到鍛煉，迅速成長。曾國藩生性“懦緩”，李鴻章作風明快果斷。帥府下，中軍帳幕，每有大計，曾猶豫再三，慢踱以手磕額：這，行不行唦？李鴻章沉思后，數言而決，肯定地答：照！</span> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;font-size:15px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> <span style="font-size:16px;">“照”，是安徽話，也是合肥話。李鴻章1823年生于合肥磨店鄉，兄弟中行二，年及弱冠時，選為廬州府優貢。1843年，任京官的父親望子成龍，函催進京準備來年順天府鄉試。遵父命北上前，李鴻章作《入都》詩10首，不久詩作在京城傳開，“一萬年來誰著史，三千里外覓封侯”，人們盛贊：這小子，好氣魄！李詩言志：“遍交海內知名士，去訪京師有道人。”博眾人好感。我曾以翁方綱、翁同龢書為帖，某天發現李鴻章書藝蓋過了他們，于是把那些聯句“名書欣見神龍本，長日閑觀天馬圖”等，研墨揮毫，一遍一遍臨習。同時臨習的，君不見笑？竟與女子張愛玲的蝌蚪“嬌書”一塊兒，對比著臨摹。真是鬼使神差，一個是曾外祖父，一個是曾外孫女。張愛玲生于1920年，小老前輩103歲，呵呵，她的蝌蚪小精靈沒法跟“前人”比。</span> </p> <p style="text-align:justify;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;font-size:15px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> <span style="font-size:16px;">李鴻章1844年，應順天府鄉試，中舉人。同年，與周氏完婚。李鴻章一生，妻妾有三。原配周氏，中年病故。繼室趙小蓮，側室莫冬梅——趙的陪房丫頭。趙小蓮生二女，大女菊耦，后被許配仕途“挺倒霉”的幕僚張佩綸。張印塘之子張佩綸，李鴻章心目中的“戰家子”，官翰林院侍講學士，署理左副都御史，總理衙門大臣，會辦福建海疆事宜大臣。晚清政壇，張佩綸以剛直敢言、彈劾貪腐昏官而著稱，被譽為“清流派”。然而“清流”會辦海疆，福建馬尾中法海戰里，瓢潑大雨中，指揮官張佩綸頭頂一只小臉盆作落湯雞敗逃，回朝被革職流放。兵敗被流放后又喪妻與子，然而李鴻章將菊耦嫁與他填房。時人撰聯諷曰：“養老女，嫁幼樵，李鴻章未分老幼；辭西席，就東床，張佩綸不是東西。”張佩綸大李菊耦18歲，結婚育兒女，他們的孫女正是后來的張愛玲。</span> style="font-size:16px;">張先娶妾蘇軾謔：十八新娘八十郎。胡蘭成娶張愛玲大她19歲，還舉魯迅許廣平為前例，這與今天的某翁們比，是小巫見大巫么。為人父母的，我們介意女兒嫁年大的甚至年大到耄耋的男人嗎？我們愿意讓女兒嫁為人正直的、才情的、家道不興而仕途失意者，還是嫁人品條件與此相反的？如果這父母位置已是居廟堂之高，肯讓女兒下嫁江湖之遠么？</span> </p> <p style="font-size:16px;">出地鐵站一路上求存包未果，得淮河路一煙酒店老板娘指點，到街口轉個彎，就有電子存包。我們拉著背著歡躍奔那里，小兒眼尖一指就是它了。半檐的似亭非亭，懸掛著一整排嬰兒推車，相鄰又一排乳白立柜箱體，標示“租車存包掃碼”。我拿手機弄半天，心里叫苦，這東西怎么下載啊。這時，一位白衫小姑娘走來說：存包吧？上我家！</span> </p>
