style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 我的父親是一位農民，從小就跟著爺爺在地主家當伙計，靠出苦力維持一家二十多口老小的生計。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 聽母親說，有一年鬧旱災，莊稼顆粒無收，地主家沒有了收成，我家也就斷了糧。那一年，父親剛好十八歲，是家里的長子，眼望著一家人挨餓，父親急的團團轉。聽說，鄰村有人挑著當地土窯燒制的碗碟能到南方換些米面回來（我們當地人稱作“換碗”），父親也沒加考慮，就砍了院子里的一棵桑樹，做了一根桑木扁擔，第二天就隨人一起到南方“換碗”去了。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父親的扁擔比一般的扁擔要長，兩頭窄中間寬，最寬處有十多厘米，最窄處也有五六厘米，厚度約有三四厘米，由于是自己做的，不夠專業，坑坑洼洼有些粗糙，但父親非常喜歡，他說：“用著順手！” </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父親“換碗”的工具很簡單，一根桑木扁擔，兩個用荊條自編的籮筐。父親每次外出都要先到窯廠進上滿滿兩籮筐的碗碟，然后用他那特有的扁擔挑著，總是在天不亮的時候出發，快則十天之內就可以回來一趟，然后再進貨，再出發。若是趕上碗碟不好交換的時候，半個月才能回來一趟。每當這個時候，母親總是念叨著：“看樣子，這次的出門不順利啊！”而且一天也不止一次的到村口等父親。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父親每次回來都會換些米面，供全家人維持生計。偶爾，也會換一些針線或小孩玩具。當孩子們拿著玩具快樂地玩耍時，母親卻是心疼的抽泣，因為父親那寬厚的肩膀每次都磨出了一大片血泡，甚至化膿感染，每當母親用酒給他擦拭的時候，父親只是咬咬牙，但從不說一聲痛。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 后來，我們家分到了土地，父親特別珍惜自己的土地。那根扁擔就是他最好的伙伴，挑水、挑糞、挑糧……有時候，也挑我。記得小時候，父親和母親到地里干活，每一次父親都會用他的裝備挑著我，籮筐的一頭裝的是我，另一頭裝著的不是農具就是糧食。我坐在籮筐里，父親給我講故事，高興的時候還會唱一段河南豫劇，我雖然聽不懂，但我感到很幸福，甚至高興地手舞足蹈。那時候，父親的扁擔挑的是我的搖籃，是我快樂的童年和全家人的幸福。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父親的扁擔還是一件神秘武器。記得有一次，鄰居家的耕牛鬧脾氣，鬧到了我們家的家門口。看著來勢洶洶的大黃牛，我們一家人都忙著向屋子里跑，只有父親抄起他的扁擔向門外跑，只見父親把扁擔一橫，馬步一站，大有“一夫當關萬夫莫開”之英雄氣概。大黃牛也被父親突如其來的架勢嚇得連忙后退幾步，父親連忙趁機一手搬住大黃牛的牛角，另一只手則把扁擔伸進大黃牛的身下，然后用肩膀一扛，大黃牛被架在空中，瞬間倒在地上，一群人一擁而上，大黃牛就乖乖地俯首稱臣了。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 有一天，父親摔倒了，而且再也沒有起來。那天父親正在條麥子，突然一個踉蹌，就重重地摔倒了，之后再也沒有睜開眼睛。父親出殯的那天，家里來了很多鄉親，大家都帶來了自己家的扁擔，準備用自己家的扁擔抬著父親的棺槨，為他送別。這也是我們那里送別老人的一種禮儀。可母親卻拿出父親的桑木扁擔，說：“用他的那根扁擔抬吧，這根扁擔跟了他一輩子，今天就讓它給他送別吧！” </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-bottom:16px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 自那天之后，我們再也沒有看到父親的那根扁擔。只到十年后，母親去世，我們整理母親的遺物時，在母親床邊——挨著墻的地方發現了它…… </p>
